2. How do you help a customer select the right piece? 

When a new customer enters the store, the typical reaction is: gosh, it’s like a candy store! The endless variety of designs and colors can be overwhelming. The trick is to first take a glance at everything, absorbing the array of colors and combinations without focusing on a particular piece. Naturally, we are all automatically drawn to certain colors or a particular design, and this is where your jewelry journey starts. 

Next, our team asks about favorite colors for clothes or about other jewelry pieces you may like to combine with Bron. Your eye and skin color also play a role, as certain gems are known to suit certain tones. Once all these things are discussed, many customers are happy to have their options narrowed down. After that, they are well on the way to discovering the perfect piece. 

Then the fun part begins: fine-tuning! In this step, a personality gets reflected in the color and shape of the selected pieces. Time and time again, we are privileged to be part of this jewelry journey. Obviously, we have some customers who don’t need assistance at all. They go ahead and select the perfect product, and it’s amazing to see! Either way, our extensive collection ensures that a perfect match can always be found. On top of this, we always have access to our treasure trove in Schoonhoven!

3. How would you define a “nice customer”?

For us, all customers are nice, whatever their budget, or even those just happily picking up a product after polish or repair. However, it’s really nice when someone is totally surprised by the outcome of their visit and leave us with a really big smile. And of course, returning customers who are still super happy with their previous purchase. It’s so heart-warming to see how many people have a true connection to our brand.  

4. What is your favorite Bron product and why?

My dearest personal piece is the “Wheel of Fortune”, a beautiful pendant from the Toujours Ajour collection. It was love at first sight! I got it as a gift and my generous friends will always be connected to this “piece of Bron”. It holds a cabochon-cut London Blue topaz, and is so easy to mix and match, I find myself wearing it all the time. Fortunately, I have an amazing pair of matching Catch earrings with a similar stone in a random cut. For me, they are a dream team!
