Warranty & repairs
What warranty does Bron Jewelry provide?
Bron manufactures all its products with the utmost care and attention. However, there is always a slight chance that something can go wrong during production. We provide a one-year warranty for production and material defects on all our jewelry. This warranty does not apply if the jewelry has not been set, repaired or resized by our own craftsmen.
All gemstones have a certain hardness and resistance to scratching. However, anything – even diamonds - can suffer damage as a result of careless use. Bron gives a one-year warranty on gemstones, diamonds and pearls, provided the jewelry is worn carefully. Lines, scratches or damage as a result of intensive use are not covered by the warranty. If applicable, under the warranty the gemstone, diamond or pearl will be replaced free of charge with a comparable new one.
The warranty is valid from the moment you purchase the item. In the event of a warranty claim, we will ask you for a further description of the problem, the order number of your order and the date you received the item. If your jewelry is damaged after the warranty period, we will try to solve the problem for you, and will make a contribution to the cost. You can contact us with your questions by email at info@bronjewelry.com or by phone at (0182) 382 900. Please note that our office is only open on weekdays from 09:00 to 16:30.
Where can I get my jewelry repaired?
For a repair, please contact our customer service by email at info@bronjewelry.com or by phone at (0182) 382 900. Your jewelry will be inspected and repaired in our own workshop. In the event of a quality or production defect, the jewelry is covered by the warranty and all costs are covered by Bron Jewelry. In all other cases, the costs of repairing and shipping the items will be borne by you. You can also bring your jewelry for repair to your own Bron jeweler or to our Bron Boutique (address: Het Arsenaal, Kooltjesbuurt 1, 1411 RZ Naarden Vesting).
If you have purchased a Bron product from one of our Bron jewelers, it is best to bring your jewelry to that jeweler for repair. They will make sure that your jewelry gets to Bron Jewelry. Please note: the warranty does not apply if the jewelry was not set, repaired or resized by our own craftsmen at the time of purchase.
How can I get my jewelry repaired after the warranty period has expired?

Size
Is it possible to adjust the size of a ring?
Adjusting the size of a ring is delicate work that can affect both the structure and appearance of the ring. For this reason, Bron applies strict quality standards when adjusting the size of a ring. If adjusting the size of a ring is deemed unfeasible, a new copy of the ring will be produced.
First discuss your wishes with our customer service via email at info@bronjewelry.com or by phone at (0182) 382 900. Then bring the ring to your jeweler or to our Bron Boutique (Het Arsenaal, Kooltjesbuurt 1, 1411 RZ Naarden Vesting). You can also send the ring by registered mail to Bron Jewelry, Korte Dijk 9, 2871 CA Schoonhoven. Your jewelry will be inspected and repaired in our own workshop.
Production and maintenance
How is Bron Jewelry’s jewelry made?
Bron designs the collections in-house. Our goldsmiths and gemstone setters then produce most of the items at our workshop in Schoonhoven. Each piece of jewelry is made with care and subjected to strict quality control. Having our own workshop means we can respond quickly and flexibly to the wishes of our customers.
What kind of gold does Bron Jewelry use?
We make our jewelry exclusively using 18-carat gold (the international standard). Almost all Bron models are available in rose gold, yellow gold and white gold at a uniform price. For each color of gold we have composed our own alloy. All the gold we use has been recycled, and we give it a new life.
How do I ensure that my jewelry stays beautiful?
Bron jewelry is made to be worn often. However, the gold, gemstones, pearls and diamonds need to be well cared for. Our goldsmiths are happy to give you the following advice for the maintenance of your jewelry.
Wear and enjoy your jewelry every day, but do so with care.
Wearing jewelry while performing physical work or sports exercises can lead to unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend that you always take off your jewelry when doing gardening, chores, cleaning, cooking, swimming or sports. We also recommend that you to take off your jewelry when you go to sleep.
Expose your jewelry as little as possible to hard and rough objects that could damage the gold or gemstones. It is preferable to leave your jewelry at home when you go to the beach for a day, as sand can rub between your jewelry and skin. Finally, keep your jewelry in the original box that came with the jewelry, or in a travel case.
Gemstones, pearls and diamonds run the risk of losing their shine when exposed to oil, lotion, perfume, detergents or chemicals. Carefully clean your jewelry with a soft toothbrush, lukewarm water and a little detergent to restore their shine and brilliance.
Gemstones are fragile natural materials and, depending on their hardness, can suffer scratches or corrosion. In case of intensive use, we recommend that you have your jewelry examined and reconditioned once a year by our specialists. It is sometimes difficult to see imperfections with the naked eye, but a piece of jewelry can be exposed to slight shocks or wear and tear, causing gems, diamonds or pearls to loosen and even fall out.
We hope you will find these recommendations useful for the proper care of your jewelry. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service by email at info@bronjewelry.com.
