Rutilated Quartz

The Bron collection contains several types of quartz: from amethyst and citrine to rose, lemon and smoky quartz. Rutilated quartz is less well known, but special indeed. Its golden or black needle-shaped inclusions add depth and texture to the transparent material, creating playful patterns. According to spiritual leaders, rutilated quartz calms the soul in crisis situations. For us, it is simply an intriguing, one-of-a-kind gemstone.

Color range

Rutile’s color and character are derived from the needles dispersed throughout the quartz. These natural inclusions are composed of rutile or tourmaline with colors ranging from silver and gold to copper or jet black.

Gemstones without inclusions are generally considered more valuable than those with. We respectfully disagree. In fact, rutilated needle inclusions make all the difference! The patterns they create are fun and playful, making every rutile jewel unique.
